这个全职, 12-month exempt position reports to the college president, serves on the College Cabinet/Leadership Team, and is located at the beat365平台 (JWCC) campus in Quincy, 伊利诺斯州.

 

基本功能

This position directs the college’s human resource 项目 and services. These duties include providing information and serving as a resource to others, achieving defined objectives by planning, 评估, 发展中, 实现, and maintaining services in compliance with established guidelines.

  • Man年龄s the College’s HR operations and 项目; work includes supervising and monitoring work performed by staff; identifying, 谈判, and contracting with vendors; planning and revising 项目, including those related to recruitment, 补偿, and training; and providing HR expertise to employees, 经理, 以及其他利益相关者.

  • 准备, 评论, and presents a variety of reports, 计划, 和信件, using general knowledge and subject matter expertise, to facilitate HR operations and ensure compliance with laws and regulations; work may also include overseeing the maintenance of and/or updating and maintaining human resources information systems and databases.
  • Participate in the collective bargaining 流程 to assist in the negotiation of labor agreements.
  • Advises administrators on personnel issues.
  • Responsible for the budget of the Human Resources Department.
  • Advises the President and Executive Council on HR matters.
  • Serves as a liaison to the Personnel Committee of the 校董会.
  • Serves on college standing committees (e.g., Professional Development, Strategic Planning).

 

最低资格

Bachelor’s degree in human resources man年龄ment or related field from a regionally accredited institution. Three or more years of progressive Human Resources and man年龄ment experience. Knowledge of HR systems and databases. Strong analytical skills and experience with 发展中 and reporting on HR metrics. Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills. 解决冲突的技巧. 优秀的人际交往能力. Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with other college and community members, displaying cultural competence and emotional intelligence.

A master’s degree in human resources, experience in human resource man年龄ment in a higher education setting, SPHR或SHRM-SCP认证, and experience in change man年龄ment and organizational development. Negotiation and Labor Relations experience.

 

标准现场工作时间表

Monday – Thursday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Friday 8:00 am – 12:00 pm. Some evenings and weekends may be required.
